Packaging with Pennants

Packaging with Pennants

Have you ever received a package that was so beautifully packaged that you almost didn't want to open it? The packaging can often make or break the delivery experience, and the good news is that it's easy to level up your packaging game with a simple addition: paper pennants.

Paper pennants are a fun and affordable way to add a touch of personality to your packaging. Here are some ways to use paper pennants to level up your packaging:

1. Add a pop of color: If you're using plain brown or white boxes, paper pennants can be an excellent way to add some color to your packaging. Choose pennants in bright patterns to make your packaging more eye-catching.

During a Create Along, we made a couple of examples. The first example used a Kraft 2x2x6 box to which we added a paper band from the "Reminder You Are Loved" Pennant Design. We tied some baker's twine to provide an easy spot to put the pennant in. To create the pennant, we used the small Flat Front Glue style pennant from the "Reminder You Are Loved" Design and hot glued it to a Swizzle Stick. We then slid the pennant in behind the twine and finished it off with one of our foam heart stickers. We used a little hot glue to keep the foam heart in place.

In the second example, we have used our White Merchandise Bags. To add a touch of cuteness, we folded the top of the merchandise bag over and used our Banner Style Pennant in the "Hugs & Kisses" Design. We then folded the top of the banner over the top of the bag to carry the design over. After that, we punched two holes in the top of the bag and banner using a hole punch. Finally, we threaded ribbon or twine through the holes from the back and tied it closed. This simple yet creative idea can turn a plain bag into a super cute one!

2. Personalize your packaging: If you're sending a package to a specific person, consider personalizing the pennants with their name or initials. This is a great way to add a personal touch to your packaging and make your customers feel special. We designed our "Big Heart" Pennant with an open design so you can add a name or sentiment in the Big Heart Area!

3. Add some fun to the Pennant embellishment by getting creative with it! Although they look adorable without any added embellishments, you can always jazz them up using pom poms, sparkles, ribbon, twine, yarn, or anything else you can think of. Take a look at the Create Along with the "Lots of Love" Pennants to see how we decorated ours. Here are some images of what we made.

Now it's your turn! Paper pennants are an affordable and easy way to level up your packaging game. They add a touch of personality, color, and fun to your packages. Give them a try and see how they can enhance your packaging and customer experience. Make sure to tag us when you post your creations!
